They love the sun but will prosper in part shade. Species Lilies can be left in the ground for years, where they will multiply steadily. The flowers are fantastic for picking. Some have a light fragrance, others none at all, which is great if you have issues with hay fever. Species Lily stems are packed with flowers, some have up to fifty at any one time.
